Far: Changing Tides is a lonely post-apocalyptic navigate, coming late 2021
During this year's PC Gaming Display, indie developer Okomotive announced its newest pensive hazard game Furthermost: Changing Tides. It's a direct carry out to the studio's previous gamey, Far: Unaccompanied Sails, merely as an alternative of drive a beat-up vehicle across a worthless landscape, this time you'll be sailing through uncharted waters.
I loved Far: Lone Sails back when it first released leash years past, and it looks like this continuation will comprise following closely in its airstream. You'ray tasked with piloting a ship across a waterlogged globe, scavenging for ship parts to desperately keep out your hulking machine moving forward. Changing Tides looks to be a quietly meditative adventure that uses atmospheric and environmental hints to convey its position-cataclysm story.
One part of the preview that particularly caught my attention was when your tiny character leaves the ship. In Lone Sails, you could lone really explore the immediate area circumferent the ship, just it's totally different here. Changing Tides lets you traverse dry land, explore uninhabited cities, rise rickety towers, and symmetrical dive into the depths of the ocean. The trailer shows the character discovering an subaqueous graveyard overflowing of broken ships. Hopefully, that won't glucinium your fate.
Together with developer and publisher Frontier Foundry, Okomotive will be introduction Far: Changing Tides sometime towards the death of 2021 on Steam and the Epics Games Store. That gives you plenty of time to check out Unaccompanied Sails.
